‘Domestic abuse affects so many and this will allow those who use abusive behaviours to make a choice about changing.

‘Together with our partners at SDAS, we can pro-actively support individuals.

‘I’d like to extend my thanks to the Big Lottery Fund and to my partners for all their dedication to this cause.’

Up2U is an intervention programme responding to individual need and risk and responsivity by offering tailored packages.

The project will be run over three years and is an extension of work already done by the SDAS and the council, who linked up together in 2014.

This funding will widen the area the project covers.
