Family fun day roaring success

For the fourth year, the annual family fun day encouraged residents and its 680 staff to invite their families in to the care home on Monday with one simple rule '“ to have fun.

The day saw families enjoy a variety of fun and games, including stocks in the garden as well as a wide range of entertainment.    

Portsmouth singer Lacey Love entertained guests with a host of classic country and western songs.   

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillor Lee Mason, and police community support officers were also in attendance to enjoy the family fun day.    

It is hoped the event will be back next year.
