Fire crews rescue baby from house

A BABY was rescued from a locked house by firefighters.

Crews from Havant were called by the mother of a one-month old, who left her home in Delphi Way, Waterlooville, to put a bin out when the front door slammed shut yesterday afternoon.

Entry to the house was gained using a ladder, via an open window, and the baby was rescued after 10 minutes.

The baby was completely unharmed.
