Floating bridge memories required
You might remember two books from a local publisher I reviewed some time ago. One was The Wonder of Woolies and the other The Ultra Factory which was at Fareham.
Amanda Field has asked for your help once again with any memories of ferries crossing Portsmouth Harbour. It could be the Gosport Ferry, the chain ferry that crossed from Point, Old Portsmouth, even the sailors’ own crossing boats from HMS Vernon to HMS Dolphin.
