Four-hour power cut affects hundreds

HUNDREDS of people were affected by a four-hour power cut.

Addresses in Portchester and Fareham lost power shortly after 10.27am yesterday.

Engineers from SSE were working on the site for several hours to restore the supply shortly before 3pm. A spokesperson for SSE apologised for the loss of power.
