The group, co-founded by comedian Jim Davidson, helps veterans who have turned to drugs and crime.

Steve said: ‘They raise money and support for veterans who have seen a lot at war and struggled to integrate.

‘Some go to drink and drugs and some go to prison.

‘What they do is rehouse them and try to help them.

‘They look after them, offering counselling and support.’

The charity, based in Whiteley, also wants to reduce re-offending by veterans in the criminal justice system.

Portsmouth band Funkstar are set to please the crowds with funk tunes at the Bandstand and Indie-Rockers The Novatones will also perform.
