Shabbir Miah, 25, of Tottenham Road, Landport, admitted drug-driving on May 3 in St Mary's Road in Portsmouth.

A test revealed he had 238 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine, more than four times the 50-microgramme limit.

Magistrates fined him £120 with an 18-month driving ban. He must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Nicholas Walters, 42, of Bury Road, Gosport, admitted stealing £244 worth of Armani clothes in Portsmouth on July 2.

Magistrates imposed a 28-day jail term suspended for a year. He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Walters also admitted failing to turn up at court on October 19 and was detained in court.

Lee Fewings, 26, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour on June 13 in Kingston Road, Portsmouth.

Magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge and £100 prosecution costs to pay.

Kyle Ross, 34, of Mountwood Road, Emsworth, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on June 20 in Portsmouth.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 15 days of rehabilitation activities.

Ross was fined £30 with an £85 victim surcharge.

Merkebu Beyene, 33, of Harold Road, Southsea, admitted drink-driving in St Marks Road on September 9.

A test revealed he had 110 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Beyene was fined £250 with an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

He was banned from driving for two years.

Brendan Coggle, 32, of Wellington Terrace, Basingstoke, admitted being drunk and disorderly on October 13 in Guildhall Square in Portsmouth.

He was fined £20 with a £30 victim surcharge.

George Comerford, 23, of Charden Road, Gosport, admitted having cannabis, a class B drug.

Magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge to pay.

The drug must be forfeited and destroyed, magistrates ordered.

Stewart Gibson, 37, of Cornwell Close, Gosport, admitted handling stolen goods '“ a till and charity tin from Bayside Cabin in Gosport.

He received a 12-month community order and 60 hours of unpaid work. He must pay £195 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
