Local author publishes debut novel
A HAVANT author has published her first book - a fantasy novel for young adults.
Karen Preston, whose book is called Boy to Bowman, says that her story champions the underdog, and hopes that it shows young people that it is possible to do something with your life, even if you have humble beginnings.
She said: ‘Besides being a tale of magic and fantastical creatures, the story is just as its title suggests. It’s the tale of an ordinary boy coming of age in an extraordinary way. He stands up to worse than his bullies and triumphs.’
Boy to Bowman is available on Amazon and book stores from January 29.
