MP urges groups to apply as community fund opens

A COMMUNITY fund could be a crucial cash injection forÂ projects, groups and clubs in the region, according to Fareham MP Suella Braverman.

The Aviva Community Fund, which is now open for applications,Â will finance over 500 local projects in communities across the UK, with awards ranging from under Â£1,000 up to Â£25,000.

Projects can be entered into one of three categories '“Â environment, health and wellbeing or skills for life.

Mrs Braverman said: '˜This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise and support the important work of local projects and the organisations in Fareham.'

The deadline for applications is 12pm on October 9.
