Fan Jack Matthews, from Southsea, went with friend Joe Blake. They both support the Dallas Cowboys.

Jack said: ‘It was a really good afternoon. I was excited when I heard the tour was coming to Portsmouth.

‘We have a lot of NFL fans here. It was great seeing the former players.’

Father and son Michael and Liam Talbot, who support the Green Bay Packers, said it was a good build-up to the London games. Liam, aged 13, added: ‘It has made me really excited for the season to start. I hope they do more of this.’

Outside in the square, fans were able to get a picture with a giant American football.
