OAP says thanks for help at railway

A PENSIONER has thanked a mystery woman who saved him after his mobility scooter got stuck in a miniature railway line track.

Archie Brown, 79, of Eastoke Avenue, was out on his blue mobility scooter when he got stuck at the line between Eastoke corner and the fairground.

A woman came to his aid, helped him get up after he fell over and set him on his way again.

Thankful Mr Brown, who thinks the woman lives on Hayling, said: '˜She got me back on my way.

'˜I'd like to give her a little thank you.'

The incident happened in early September.
