Every day, communities in Portsmouth must say their final farewells to family members, friends, colleagues, neighbours and many other characters who have played a unique part in local life.

21. Valerie Unwin
Passed away peacefully at Queen Alexandra Hospital with her dear son Gary at her side on 1st May 2025, aged 93 years. Loving Mother to Gary and Mother-in-law to Pat. Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and good friend to many. Funeral service to be held at Portchester Crematorium on Wednesday 4th June 2025 at 3.00pm. 22. Tina Helme (née Pearce)
Passed away on 10th May 2025 aged 64. Her family invite those who wish to say goodbye and celebrate her life to join them at her funeral and wear something bright and colourful on the day. The funeral service will be held at St. Matthew’s Church, Wych Lane, Gosport, on Tuesday, 17th June at 1:30pm followed by burial at Ann’s Hill Cemetery. 24. Brian George Van Daal
