CHERYL GIBBS: I'm scared at how a feeling of fear is now part of life
Once again I write about a tragedy so great, so disturbing, that it leaves me speechless.
I genuinely have no idea what to say. What can one say when 22 innocent people have died in yet another completely senseless attack?

Thousands went into that arena feeling safe, excited at the prospect of having an enjoyable evening with friends and family.
Twenty-two of them didn’t make it out. With more missing and many injured, I am left wondering what it’s all about.
Why? Why did someone think that their beliefs were greater than the lives of innocent people?

Hide AdI honestly have no words, but it’s worrying how these kind of actions are becoming such a part of our lives that we’re not completely shocked by such breaking news.
It’s become part of our society now. I woke up to the awful news on Tuesday morning and was so deeply saddened. My heart goes out to everyone involved.
It scares me how this has become part of life now – this constant feeling of fear, the feeling that you’re never quite safe and that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you’re in a crowded place, a shopping centre or even on the train.
How many of you have had that feeling? I know I have and how deeply disturbing is that?

People of all ages, backgrounds, races and religions came together to show their support in any way they could.
Me? I genuinely don’t know what to do or say any more.
We are talking about the deepest kind of evil, where people believe so much in their cause that they’re willing to kill innocent children who haven’t even had a chance to live life yet.
My only hope is that we don’t become a society that becomes used to this kind of behaviour, because that might just be one of the biggest tragedies of all.

Hide AdWinter is coming’ - well maybe not quite yet, we’ve not even had a blooming summer yet.
But those three words have been made famous all over the world by Game Of Thrones star Kit Harrington – better known by fans of the show as Jon Snow.
I love that man!
He’s such a legend and not least because he’s so down-to-earth.
In a recent interview in Esquire magazine, Kit said that once the show finishes in 2018 he intends to take some time off, wanting to live a life of ‘relative obscurity’ for a while.
That may be hard to achieve for such a big star.

REFRESHING TO SEE PRIYANKA STICKING UP FOR PAL MEGHAN
Baywatch and Quantico TV star Priyanka Chopra has come out in defence of her pal, fellow actress Meghan Markle.
On the Wendy Williams Show, the host referred to Meghan as ‘Prince Harry’s girlfriend’, to which Priyanka pointed out that she’s much more than that and has her own accomplishments.
Clearly she wasn’t happy at Meghan being defined by her relationship status and good on Priyanka for sticking up for her pal.

Hide AdAlthough Priyanka has done quite a bit of TV and film now and is certainly making her way in Hollywood, she’s not a hugely well-known name (yet).
So I think it was refreshing of her to stick up for Meghan despite any potential backlash she may have received over her reaction.
