Mayor of Havant to switch on Leigh Park Christmas lights tonight

The Christmas lights in Leigh Park will be switched on tonight by the Mayor of Havant, Cllr Faith Ponsonby.

A lantern procession, led by a piper, will take place at the Greywell and Park Parade shopping precincts at 5pm.

Cllr Ponsonby will then be joined by Father Christmas to switch on the lights and carol around the tree next to Savers in the Greywell precinct.

At 1pm, the Mayor will open Leigh Park’s annual Christmas grotto at the precinct, with live music performed by children from five local schools.
