Sam Poole: Reach out and embrace your potential

There are times in life when we feel as if everything is thrown our way at once.

Whatever your age, ability, or the things you may do, there will always be a time when everything seems a little more challenging than usual.

Ongoing commitments with work and other responsibilities mean I am limited in the time I have to myself.

I enjoy everything I do. Although at times it can get exhausting.

Many deal with difficult and challenging times by burying their heads in the sand in a bid to ignore the inevitable.

Young people are especially prone to doing this as it may be their first experience of everything piling up.

It is easy to throw all tasks to one side, lounge around and ignore what needs to be done.

Positivity is key in everything we do.

You may ask, how is it possible to remain positive despite all these obstacles?

Everything we do is reflected in the mindset we have.

If we approach a task with a negative attitude, the outcome is almost certain to be negative.

If we approach an activity with a dim attitude the overall result may not be very pleasing.

We need to do things with a positive attitude.

If we do, I guarantee we will see the conclusions in a more positive light.

The way we think is important.

If you are someone who may find it a challenge to look at things in a positive light then think of something you may enjoy.

Focus your thoughts on your preferred areas to support you through the challenge.

Everyone deals with activities they may not enjoy.

However, that’s life.

We will all have days in which we are required to do things we may not necessarily rave about.

We should plough our way through the unexciting areas for a great outcome.

Don’t cave in and give up under pressure. Use the challenge to make you a stronger individual.

Don’t create limitations for yourself. Keep focused on a goal which is achievable and reach it.

Whatever your background you can prove yourself to be the best at what you aspire to do.

Keep your thoughts positive. Be prepared to learn, Be up for a challenge and have confidence you will succeed.

Make a difference in this world.

We all have amazing potential – why not reach out and embrace it.
