I don’t know about you, but I do feel sorry for poor Daniel Craig. Yes Tom has the looks and the charisma to be the next Bond, but I don’t know how I would feel if the press were saying who they thought could do my job next. Daniel Craig hasn’t even confirmed he is definitely hanging up his tight little trunks to move on to pastures new and is already being compared to the likes of Idris Elba and Tom Hardy.

n Holiday brochures and websites are under scrutiny this week due to the misleading images they contain, showing idyllic landmarks with not a soul around. When in reality they are overcrowded with tourists and far from the scene of serenity which is pictured.

When you think how many people there are across the globe, it’s no wonder this is the case. I just hope no-one gets trampled on while trying to take the perfect selfie with the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

n A wooden chair that JK Rowling sat on to write the first two of her Harry Potter novels has sold at an auction for an astounding £278,000 in New York. That is an obscene amount of money for a mismatched chair which looks like something your Nan would have in her living room.

If in another 10 years or so, I can flog the chair I sit on to do my breakfast show for anywhere near as much money, I will be one happy man.
