PASTOR DAN HARMAN: Whatever your beliefs, we welcome you

Having an impact on the lives of those in our local community and beyond is truly brilliant.

City Life Church (CLC) is a vibrant and growing community of people who do not just love God – they reach out and serve people willingly.

As senior pastor of this church I have been deeply encouraged to witness the steady growth this year.

We regularly hear stories of how lives have been changed and faith has been restored.

Many people describe CLC as a warm and welcoming environment, a place to belong, a place to call home.

Regardless of your beliefs, doubts or questions we want you to know that you are welcome.

We are here to support, encourage and inspire people to make a positive difference in the city of Portsmouth and around the world.

We have regular group meetings at our church to enrich people’s lives, including Alpha courses which help people explore the Christian faith, and courses to prepare couples for married life.

At least 100 people belong to our Life Groups – small groups of people who meet to study the Bible and pray for each other.

We are very excited about our forthcoming annual event called All Treat and No Trick – an inclusive community event celebrating light and life.

It’s a free event which takes place on Monday, October 31, from 6pm to 8pm.

This is our chance for us as a church to share our Christian faith and express God’s love to our community in a fun and joyful way.

This is one of our largest community outreach events, with hundreds of people flowing through the doors.

You are very welcome to come along and be part of the celebration.

On top of some fantastic events, we are very excited to have almost completed a redevelopment of all our children’s facilities at the church.

The rooms will enable us to offer an even better children’s service at weekends and will also operate as multi-purpose rooms, including the launch of Cherish Nursery in January.

There’s so much happening it is impossible to place it all on this page.

Head to our website, myclc.org.uk, for more information and connect with us on social media.

We’d love to get to know you better.
