Early on Nicke Kabamba was denied by goalkeeper Chris Neal after being cleverly put through by Pavey.

Immediately the Ammies launched a counter-attack which ended with Adam Rooney heading straight at Ryan Young.

On 22 minutes it was the Hawks who made the breakthrough.

Wes Fogden got to the byline and his low cross was turned out by Neal. The ball fell to Bradley Tarbuck who's miscued shot was parried away from under the bar.

PAVEY following up crashed the loose ball into the bottom corner of the net.

A neat Theo Lewis back heel put Rutherford in and his low drive was cleared from in front of goal.

The home side had started the second period well but Young had to make a near post save top deny Ibou Touray.

The Hawks had a let off when Lewis cleared a header off the line from a corner with Young beaten.

Dan Lloyd was lucky to escape with just a booking after pushing Rutherford to the ground with both hands.

With six minutes remaining Young did well to collect a dangerous Lloyd free-kick into the area.
