Pensioner's party raises charity cash
Former police matron Joyce Taylor celebrated by fundraising at the Wymering Sports and Social Club in Sixth Avenue, Wymering, Portsmouth.
The 87-year-old had more than 100 people celebrate her birthday with her last month.

Hide AdIn total, £865 was raised for the Naomi House children’s hospice and The Rocky Appeal. Her daughter Valerie Long, 63, made three cakes with angels on them.
Joyce said: ‘Everyone enjoyed themselves. There were more than 100 people there.
‘It was absolutely brilliant. We made £865, half of that goes to Naomi House and half to the Rocky Appeal.
‘My daughter gives me a birthday party every other year in case I’m not here.’

Hide AdActivities included guessing the weight of a cake supplied by Tesco in Port Solent and guessing the name of a soft toy dog.
Joyce added she was thankful for the donations from all, including Iceland and Tesco branches in Portsmouth.
