11 Gosport pubs we've loved and lost since the late 1990s

SINCE the late 1990s, a number of pubs across Gosport have sadly closed their doors for good.

The Artillery Arms in Brockhurst Road closed in 2006.
The Barley Mow in Anns Hill Road closed in 2015.

The Camden Arms in Forton Road closed around the year 2000.
The Dolphin in Clayhall Road closed in 1998 and has since been turned into housing.
The Jack In The Bush in Elson Road closed in 2011.
The Railway Inn in Forton Road closed in 2010.
The Robin Hood in Mayfield Road closed in 2006.
The Royal Arms in Stoke Road closed in 2008 - but the council now plans to renovate the glass frontage and repurpose the building
The Wheatsheaf in Brockhurst Road closed in 2008.
The White Swan in Forton Road closed in the 2000s, and was transformed into housing in 2013
The Yachtsman in Gosport High Street, which closed in 2011 and has since become Coffee #1.
