And while some people may be left disappointed for very bizarre reasons, many, many more have left feeling extremely satisfied. Here are the reasons visitors LOVED  their trips to these attractions. 

This TripAdvisor loved their trip to Spinnaker, they gave it 5 stars saying: 'Magical view. A lovely visit to the top of Spinnaker Tower, went early in the morning so very quiet. Great to see the views around Portsmouth.'
This tourist loved their visit and rated it 5 stars on TripAdvisor. They wrote: 'This is a real gem a great attraction and the staff are interested in you being there and engaging great for children and adults alike.'

In a glowing five star review on TripAdvisor, one user wrote: 'Really enjoyed our day here, there is something for everyone in this well laid out site. We spent about three hours here and we both said we could return as we had not done justice to the information available.'
Portsmouth's shopping mecca proved a hit with this tourist, who gave it five stars and wrote: 'Having visited Gunwharf a few times, its sheer diverse range of shops/places to eat is unrivalled in my opinion.'
Proving a hit with tourists, this one rated it five stars and said: 'Beautiful area of Portsmouth, Spice Island being one of the main attractions here. Nice sea breeze and old buildings, just a scenic part of Portsmouth that is hard to find elsewhere.'
In a glowing five star review, one TripAdvisor user wrote: 'The promenade along the beach is done beautifully with gardens all along. great walk especially summer time, late afternoon towards the sunset. Loved it. next time will bring our dogs. It is dog heaven.'
This tourist loved the park, giving it five stars, they wrote: 'We had a great time here exploring the park, you get close to the animals and are able to feed them, there is loads to do here, the animals look well looked after.'

A tourist who was very pleased by their visit to the aquarium wrote: 'I was so excited to visit the aquarium after hearing so much about it from friends, and I was not disappointed. All the fish looked super happy and well looked.'
In a glowing five star review, a tourist wrote: 'This is a great place to come for a walk. There are swan boats for children to rent, also there was lots of children fishing for crabs. Very nice area with lots to do.'
This tourist was extremely happy with their trip to the Castle, they gave it five stars and wrote: 'This is a great place to visit for a slice of local history. Its beautiful with great views! Theres a nice cafe too with great coffee and a variety of tasty cakes too.'
