Charity Abseil down Spinnaker Tower

The 10-strong team, which comprised personnel from NMIC, MCSU and civilian contractors, were raising money and awareness for their charities.

MCSU is the Maritime C5ISR Support Unit, a team of engineers from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and civilians, who provide around-the-clock support to the Royal Navy’s IT systems.

NMIC is the National Maritime Information Centre representing 17 government departments and agencies.

MSCU raises cash for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, the Civil Service Benevolent Fund and a local nominated charity. This year the MS Society receives 70 per cent of the cash raised.
