AN air ambulance landed in Fratton this morning.

Video footage sent to The News shows the helicopter taking off from Portsmouth Academy in St Mary’s Road.

Staff confirmed the helicopter was not attending an incident at the school, but was using it as a landing spot.

According to reports on social media, road ambulances were seen near Carnegie Library in St Mary’s Road.
