Brianna Ghey vigil: Hundreds turn up to Portsmouth Cathedral

Portsmouth Cathedral was filled tonight by a solemn vigil for murdered teenager Brianna Ghey.

Staff revealed at lunchtime that the doors of the Old Portsmouth cathedral would be open for people to pay their respects to the 16-year-old transgender girl, who was killed at the weekend in Warrington.

Scores of people came to reflect on the shocking events and to light a candle in her memory.
