Chichester is named as one of Britain's most relaxed cities

The research, conducted by botanical experts Cannabotech, used well-being data to analyse levels of happiness, life satisfaction, anxiety and worthwhile in every city in the UK, with Chichester coming out on top overall.

Commenting on the study, a spokesperson from Cannabotech said: ‘The current climate of the UK is undoubtedly a stressful one, so it is vital to prioritise relaxation where we can.

‘These findings offer a fascinating insight into which cities in the UK have higher levels of well-being and relaxation and serves as a useful guide to anyone seeking a more relaxed lifestyle.’

Winchester also scored highly and sits in eighth place, ranking well in terms of life satisfaction, happiness and feelings of worthwhile.

Chichester, meanwhile, placed fourth for anxiety levels, second for feeling worthwhile, and first for life satisfaction and happiness, contributing to its status as the most relaxed city in the UK.
