Concerns raised over elderly care
ELDERLY residents across the Portsmouth region are rallying together to look after one another.
At the recent Portsmouth Hospital Trust Governors open meeting, the group agreed that the access to emergency care is a great concern.
Dr Rob Haigh said: ‘Frail, vulnerable patients are managed holistically to reduce episodes of hospital care.
‘That being said, we as patients could also take more responsibility for our own care and wellbeing.’
