Convoy of 100 horses and traps spotted travelling through Portsmouth

The convoy was seen heading through North End and Fratton and into Southsea, before tethering up on the seafront on Saturday afternoon.

A witness at the seafront said: ‘I’ve no idea why they are here but it is all very orderly.

‘The horses are left in an ordered manner along the front and the people are just chatting.’
