A large convoy of more than 100 horses and traps has been spotted heading through Portsmouth.

The convoy was seen heading through North End and Fratton and into Southsea, before tethering up on the seafront on Saturday afternoon.

A witness at the seafront said: ‘I’ve no idea why they are here but it is all very orderly.
