Cosham girl Demi Jones to join Love Island villa tonight

The 21-year-old redhead, who describes herself as ‘bubbly, reliable and friendly’, is a style advisor in Mint Velvet in Gunwharf Quays and is headed into the ITV2 series, set in South Africa, this evening.

Demi, who is also an University of Winchester graduate with a degree in Archeology and History, says she has got her eyes on Nas and Finn.

The Springfield School pupil said: ‘I think when boys see me they go for my looks and don’t want to get to know me on a deeper level. Whereas I like to think I’ve

got a bit of personality to go with it – I’m bubbly and fun.

‘I’d say I’m a seven. My best feature is my hair, I think that makes me different, I’m a natural redhead.’

Her celebrity crushes are Tom Hardy and Zac Efron and says Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’ sums up her love life.

Amid tension in the villa after a blow-up argument between Siannise Fudge and Rebecca Gormley over the latest recoupling, Demi said: ‘I’m not going to beat around the bush.

‘If I’m coupled up with someone I’m not happy with and if there’s someone I vibe with, I will have to say something, I’ll have to get my feelings across.

‘If I started falling for someone that a girl had feelings for or had a thing with in the past, I’d have to be honest and not be all sly about it. I would like to say I’m 99 per cent loyal.

‘However, if my boyfriend or someone I’m talking to is not giving me the right attention or affection then my eyes could start wandering.

‘It only takes a boy to give you a bit of attention when you’re not getting it from the right person, for you to be swayed.’

Demi, who will make her grand entrance in the villa tonight, has ambitions to be a museum curator in Rome after she has mastered the Italian language.

Instagram DMs and swapping Snapchat names on a night out is how Demi usually meets guys but admits she once tried out dating app Tinder.

She said: ‘I had a weird Tinder date where when the date was driving me home, he said ‘Do you want to see something funny?’ He got out

an air horn and started honking it out of the window.

‘It was the weirdest experience of my life. I never saw him again. That was my first and last Tinder date.’

Demi will arrive with 24-year-old personal trainer Wallace Wilson from Inverness.

The villa was left in crisis last night as Sophie Piper and Connor Durman were voted as the least favourite couple - with the remaining couples faced with the choice of which Islander to save.
