Father dies after horror accident
A father died after being rescued from the Solent in a horror jet ski incident.
The man in his 50s was on an inflatable being pulled by the jet ski just across the water from Lee-on-the-Solent at Calshot near the New Forest when it overturned shortly after 6pm on Sunday.

Coastguards dashed to help the struggling man following a medical incident after he was thrown into the sea. He was taken to hospital where he died on Monday.
A child, who was on the inflatable with the man who died, was pulled to safety alongside the jet-ski rider. The rider was not arrested.
A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.08pm on Sunday 5 July with reports of a man in difficulty in the water off Calshot, New Forest.
“Police attended along with other emergency services and the man, aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital by the ambulance service, where he subsequently died on Monday 6 July. His next of kin are aware, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
