The national Creation Station franchise awards will be announced at the annual conference in Birmingham on Saturday, February 6.

Louise said: ‘I am so delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. I have been running my business for about 18 months now and it has been a tough journey at times, but I have continued to persevere so that I can provide local children with a range of opportunities to be creative.’

The Creation Station run art and craft activity sessions for children, including baby and toddler classes, after-school clubs and weekend family fun sessions.

The classes are designed to inspire children’s imaginations by allowing them the chance to explore and discover as they use a range of craft materials to make pieces of artwork. They also provide craft activities at events and run Arty Party entertainment for children’s birthday parties.

‘The Creation Station network make such positive contributions to their local community and support local children and families to be creative and have fun together,’ said Sarah Cressall, founder and managing director.

‘I am very proud of all of our network, especially Louise, for all the work they have put into helping inspire children’s imaginations, which makes judging the awards really tough.

‘Each year our franchise owners are becoming more and more successful and the calibre is really high.’
