Denmead care home residents celebrate Caribbean-themed party
Residents at Denmead Grange care home, in Denmead, rallied to celebrate all things Caribbean during one of the Forest Road health facility’s latest shindigs.
And getting into the swing of things, residents all dressed up in grass skirts and colourful floral lei.

Hide AdStaff also decorated tables with themed balloons, toucans and multi-coloured crockery, to add some extra tropical spice to proceedings.
Music helped to get the party started, with residents later tucking into Caribbean-inspired foods for dinner.
Sharon Hare, general manager at Denmead Grange, said the celebration had been a huge hit with residents.
She added: ‘This has been a huge amount of fun and sparked a lot of memories for residents to talk about holidays they had taken.’

Hide AdDenmead Grange care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.
The facility provides residential care and dementia care for 60 residents on either a long-term or respite basis.
