Dozens of horse and carts descend on Portsmouth having been spotted in Copnor, Eastern Road and Southsea
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The contingent of horse and carts have been seen throughout Portsmouth on Saturday, May 25. They were first spotted in Copnor before setting up at South Parade Pier. Passers by making the most of a sunny bank holiday by the beach will have noticed dozens of them parked up by the railings.
It has created scenes reminiscent of the Wickham Horse Fair which took place on Monday, May 20 and was authorised by the council and attended by the RSPCA. It has not been confirmed if this drive was authorised by the council or the police.

The police have been approached for comment.
