FAMILY and friends have ‘real concerns’ for the whereabouts of a man with strong links to Portsmouth who has been missing nearly a week.

Charles Knight, 30, was last seen at around 8.30am on Wednesday leaving his parents’ home in Burghclere, near Basingstoke.

Police launched an appeal to the public to help find Charles, who also has links to Wickham.

Charles is described as white, approx. 5ft 8ins tall, tanned skin, slim build with dark hair and a beard. He also has a number of tattoos on his arms and hands.

Charles was last seen wearing a green jacket, green cap, black trousers and walking boots.

Police are asking anyone with outbuildings buildings or stables to ensure these are checked for any indication that someone has sought shelter in the last few days.

A statement from his family said: ‘Charlie’s mental health is currently a real cause for concern following his previous disappearance around six weeks prior to this incident.’
