Fire crews called to tackle retail bin blaze in Landport

FIRE crews were called to attend a fire in the early hours of yesterday morning (August 23) in Landport.

Firefighters were called to tackle the blaze in a bin containing waste materials outside of a retail outlet on Paradise Street.

Fire crews were deployed at 4.05am and one hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
