Firefighters deployed to marina amid fears of Gosport fire
Firefighters were deployed to a marina amid fears of a fire.

The alarm was sounded at Haslar Marina in Gosport around midday on Tuesday amid reports of “smells of burning”. However, checks revealed it was a false alarm.
A Hampshire fire service spokesperson said: "Crews from Gosport, Fareham, Cosham and Southsea were called to a marina on Haslar Road in Gosport shortly before midday following reports of a smell of burning.
"Firefighters carried out a thorough investigation using a thermal imaging camera; however, no signs of fire were found.
"The incident was handed over to on-site staff, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service left the scene shortly after 12:30pm."
