‘Most of the damage is in the loft spaces, but sometimes water can get through the ceiling.

‘Crews have been working very hard externally using a ladder platform to combat the fire.

‘We had some crew members use breathing apparatus to go inside to check for hot spots and get some medication that was left inside a property.

‘It’s very hard to tell what started the fire.

‘A fire investigation officer is en route. The main thing is that the fire hasn’t spread to another block.’
