Hampshire and West Sussex fire fighters tackle farm workshop blaze

FIRE crews from Havant and Emsworth were deployed this afternoon (September 14) to tackle a blaze at a farm workshop.

They were joined by fire fighters from Chichester at the West Ashling Road site in West Sussex after receiving reports of a fire at 5pm.

In total, four hose reels, two jet hoses and four breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire which had spread to a car and a lorry.

Fire crews said it took two hours to tackle the blaze, the cause of which is still under investigation.
