A vehicle fire on the M27 this morning led to delays for drivers.
A lane was left blocked following the incident around 6.30am between junction 7 and 5.
A Twitter post from live travel service Romanse said: “M27 Westbound - Lane 1 is BLOCKED between J7/A334 #HedgeEnd and J5/A335 #Eastleigh due to a vehicle fire, delays building.”

Hide AdA fire service spokesman said: “Hightown crews were called at 6.29am to a car fire on the M27 westbound carriageway between junctions 5 and 7. The fire in the engine bay was out on arrival with firefighters making the scene and vehicle safe before returning to station following the stop message at 6.46am.”
