Police appealed for information from members of the public earlier this evening. ‘Her family are said to be growing increasingly concerned for her welfare,’ a statement read.

But Christine, who was last seen wearing a grey hip length jacket with a fur hood and a penguin pyjama top, has now been found safe and well after the appeal for information.

‘We are pleased to confirm that Christine Cleary has now been found safe and well. Thank you for all your help and for sharing our appeal,’ Gosport police posted on Twitter at around 9.30pm this evening.
