Neighbours in this Gosport street have won £1,000 on the Postcode Lottery

A GROUP of neighbours will surely be popping open a bottle of bubbly after coming up trumps in a lottery draw.

Six Gosport residents have been announced as winners of the People’s Postcode Lottery this morning, netting £1,000 each.

The neighbours, all from the PO12 2TF postcode in Alverstoke, were winners of the postcode lottery’s daily prize.

He said: ‘What a great surprise for our lucky players – I’m sure they’ll be celebrating today.’

This draw was promoted by Oxfam which has received over £9m in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty. It supports disaster relief efforts, educational programmes, health initiatives and much more in over 90 countries worldwide.

Many other good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support.
