James Pennington, director of development at Radian Group, said: ‘Work on site has now started as part of our commitment to build more homes. Our priorities are to build high quality, safe and secure homes and create thriving communities.

‘It’s not often that affordable homes are built in a semi-rural area and I look forward to seeing the finished product.’

Ranging between one, two and three bedrooms, the new homes will include 12 homes for shared ownership and 17 for affordable social rent and the housing is set to be launched in May 2021.
