Wet weather didn't dampen spirits as Port Solent's Comic Con attracted the crowds - in pictures

Ghostbusters, Marvel heroes and Anime characters were brought to life at Port Solent’s fantastic free Comic Con event today (June 6).

Iconic characters, live entertainment, cosplay, workshops and more than 25 market stalls were enjoyed by delighted visitors - many of whom were dressed as their favourite comic book characters.

One highlight included the display of the Ghostbusters' car Ecto-1, as well as the chance to meet a life-size Dalek from Doctor Who.

Wind and rain saw much of the event moved undercover allowing for it to still go ahead.
