Portsmouth and its surrounding area was bursting with life over the bank holiday as the sunshine brought out the bumper crowds.
The Met Office said that temperatures peaked at 30 degrees today (May 25) after being in the twenties over the whole weekend which resulted in many people flocking to Southsea to enjoy the cooler air, as well as take advantage of the seaside facilities.
But visitors also flocked to local events and attractions around the Portsmouth area including Overlord in Denmead and Fort Nelson which has a pirate-themed week.
The sunshine is expected to stay for the rest of the week with temperatures hitting heights of 29 degrees.
