POLICE have closed part of a road in North End after a scrap metal van crashed.
The incident took place shortly before 5.45pm in London Road, near the Green Posts pub.
Pictures from the scene show a white Transit-style van with a damaged bumper and front tyre dangling off.
The northbound route of the street has been blocked off by police with diversions in place.
