Portsmouth emergency services scrambled to person trapped in mud
A MAJOR search and rescue operation is underway for a person trapped in mud.
Police, fire service, coastguard and ambulance crews are at the Mountbatten Centre in Hilsea and on the M275 southbound.
Crews are setting up lights and medical gear across the surrounding area.
According to a spokeswoman from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, one person is stuck in the mud.
A flashing light can be seen in the middle of the water.
