Lydia Clyma from Portsmouth is part of the line-up for Too Hot to Handle which sees 10 single people put together on an island with a chance to win £75,000 but there is strictly no kissing or other heavy petting allowed with money deducted from the prize pot if any couple break the rules.

The Cams Hill School pupil has remained tight-lipped about whether she found love on the show but is excited about the public watching the show.

‘Everyone can take something away from watching this show. I had so much fun filming and I can’t want to share my special journey with everyone.’

It isn’t the 22-year-old’s first time on television as she also appeared on an episode of ITV's 'Weekender Boat Party' in 2018.

Lydia, who has a younger sister, was previously a ring girl and presenter for boxing and mixed martial arts shows.

It comes after Demi Jones from Cosham starred in the latest series of Love Island, a dating show on ITV2 which sees men and women couple up to find love and get a chance to win £50,000.

Back in January, the 21-year-old redhead entered the Cape Town villa, where the ITV2 winter series was filmed, and ended up coming third in the show with Luke Mabbott.

Demi went to Springfield School, in Drayton, and is also a University of Winchester graduate with a degree in archaeology and history.

Before flying to South Africa to enter the Love Island villa, Demi worked as a style advisor at Mint Velvet in Gunwharf Quays.

She says she hopes to become a museum curator in Rome in the future, after she has mastered Italian.

Demi now has 1.1 million followers on Instagram (@demijones1) and has started her own YouTube channel.

ITV bosses haven’t confirmed if Love Island will be back this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic which has many TV shows halt production.

The popular show is usually launched in June but there are reports it could be July or more towards the end of 2020.
