Here’s our guide to all you need to know about the new addition to the city centre.

When is it open?

It’s open from 10.30am to 11pm until January 2.

How many people can it hold?

The rink is 646sq m and takes 215 skaters per session.

How much is it?

It’s £9 for an adult, £8 for a child, £8.50 for students and a family ticket is £31.

My children can’t skate. Can they still go on the rink?

Yes, young non-skaters can use ‘penguins’ to steady themselves or sit astride a seal.

How long do I get?

All skating sessions are an hour.

Can I eat and drink there?

Yes. You can enjoy hot drinks including hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, mulled wine, themed steins of beer and shot flights.

And there will be plenty of food options on offer.
