Director Claire Simmons said: ‘What I’m looking for is just a twinkle in the eye. You see some older people and you can see they have got so much left to give and they have got that cheekiness.

‘What we’re trying to do is represent the most positive aspects of the worst parts of your life. Nobody wants to have care, they would prefer to be independent so it’s trying to break down that stigma.’

In Home Care Ltd was started by Claire and her business partner Paul Reynolds nearly nine years ago, after the pair both had family members who needed care and they couldn’t find a good fit.

Claire, from Langstone, said: ‘It was started out of necessity as our own family members weren’t getting the care they needed. We hadn’t come from a care background so we didn’t have a clue about what was available.

‘We wanted to be bright and fresh. We’re here to enhance your life and not just put up with you when you’re going through your worst moments ever.’

To enter the competition to be one of the two older models for In Home Care Ltd, send a face, head and shoulders picture of the model and a full length face and body image to [email protected]

Entries should include contact name, address and contact number of nominees, with the closing date to be October 4.
