Seven people in this Fareham street have all won the People's Postcode Lottery

The band of neighbours, in Coromorant Close, Fareham, each netted £1,000 after winning the People's Postcode Lottery.

It came after the PO16 8AS postcode was announced as the daily prize winner on Wednesday.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.

He said: ‘A big congratulations to all those who have picked up a prize today in Fareham. I hope the win will help lift their spirits and they treat themselves to something special with the cash.’

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities.

Players of the postcode lottery have raised more than £600m for thousands of good causes.

The latest draw was promoted by the Postcode Green Trust, a conservation charity encouraging people to enjoy the outdoors.
