After joining in October, Gosport resident Amy Taylor lost 4.5lbs in her first week and has almost reached her 1.5st award.

Amy, 28, was inspired to join after a colleague was seeing positive results with the group.

The mum-of-two said: ‘I’d been wanting to do something along these lines and had been trying other ways to lose weight like going to the gym and what I thought was healthy eating.

‘I’d always wanted to go back down to what I was before I had my second daughter and now I just feel really good. It’s nice being able to have good food instead of calorie counting.’

Amy has changed her lifestyle alongside her eating habits, making sure her family goes for at least four walks a week.

She added: ‘It’s not only about losing weight, it’s the mindset, the way you cook, the way you think about food.

‘I can fit into clothes sizes I have not been able to buy for a long time. I feel really good mentally.’
